Excitement builds as Uganda hosts U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers

As Uganda prepares to host the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers for the CECAFA region, the stage is set for an exhilarating competition. Matches will be played at the newly refurbished Nakivubo Hamz Stadium and St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende, adding to the anticipation.

In this highly anticipated event, eight teams will compete for two coveted slots in the AFCON U-17 final tournament. Uganda will face off against familiar foes Tanzania, Burundi, and Ethiopia in Group A, while defending champions Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, and Kenya will battle it out in Group B.

Road to the semi-finals
